Walt’s intrigue for commercial development led to his vision of a neighborhood shopping center in SW Bend becoming a reality. The development consists of 50,000 square feet of neighborhood retail on four acres. Being the president of the development project he gained leadership skills, knowledge of the different facets of ground-up commercial development, and earned a professional rapport with everyone involved in the project.
Walt has a passion in recreational ranches. With his background and involvement in the hunting industry, Walt knows what it takes to be a truly exceptional recreational property. In 2005, Walt was the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s World Elk Calling Champion. Primos and Lieca Optics are a couple of the noted companies in the hunting industry that Walt has been involved with.
